A-622L

Low noise amplifier for load cells

The A-622L is a load cell amplifier that incorporates a power supply for driving load cells and can be directly connected to a 350Ω load cell. It uses a low-noise measurement amplifier IC (Analog Devices AD8221AR) and operates on a single +5V power supply with a required current of 25mA. It is equipped with trimmers for sensitivity adjustment and offset adjustment, making it easy to calibrate. Rated output: 2V, sensitivity adjustment range: 0.5 to 2.2mV, offset adjustment range: +2.5V ±0.5V. The response frequency is kept low, resulting in minimal residual output noise.

The relationship between noise level and noise figure NF.

Technical Data: Low Noise Amplifier MAP301/302

■Low Noise Amplifier MAP301/302 Ideal for radiated noise measurement. For example, when passing through an amplifier with a 20dB gain, the input signal is amplified by 20dB at the output. This is understandable. But what happens to the noise? This is not well understood. In other words, while the signal is amplified by 20dB, if the noise is also amplified by 20dB, wouldn't the appearance of the signal remain the same? No, it is different. Let's consider the definition of NF (Noise Figure).
